Our university provides each student with UniGePASS, an online identity (user-id and password). UniGePASS grants access to all online services.
Also pre-enrolled students get UniGePASS, but they are granted access to a subset of the online services.
Microsoft Campus Agreement
As a UniGe student, you have access to the Office 365 suite through the Microsoft Campus Agreement. Use your UniGePASS username and password to register.
The services include:
- 5 TB on OneDrive
You can install 5 copies of Office 365 Education on your computer and 5 on your tablet and smartphone.

GenuaWiFi and eduroam
UniGe offers two wireless networks, GenuaWiFi and eduroam, that allow access to the Internet and the online services with your UniGePASS credentials.
There are more than 600 access points located in our buildings and facilities.
The eduroam network is a service provided by the Education Roaming Federation, which UniGe is a member of. You can use your UniGePASS credentials in many other universities and research institutions in Italy and abroad.
UniGePRINT is a sustainable and highly available print service that allows staff and students to print, copy, scan and fax quickly and easily across UniGe.
Each year every student is granted a 15€ credit.
Recreation and sports
CUS Genova offers students memberships for large variety of activities.
Ten laptops are available upon request for limited time. To request a laptop, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Dining at UniGe
Your UniGE student badge guarantees you access to the dining locations, all managed by ALFA.
Group study rooms
Rooms 209 and 210, on the 2nd floor, are available for study and discussion.
Room 212 is equipped with a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a microwave and tables. You can sit here and have lunch with your fellows.
Computer study areas
SW1 and SW2 labs, on the 2nd and 3rd floor respectively, are equipped with about 150 desktop computers available for student use.
ECTS/CFU - crediti formativi universitari
One credit point is estimated as a total of 25 working hours, including classes, labs, projects and studying time.
Laurea magistrale degree
The laurea magistrale degree is the Italian equivalent of a master's degree. To attain your degree you must earn 120 CFU/ECTS in a two-year programme.
You can apply for admission in the laurea magistrale program if you have a laurea degree or any title that is equivalent to a bachelor's degree that accounts for 180 CFU/ECTS.
